BRIDGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION

We’re looking forward to another great summer at the Markle Fish & Game Club Park full of music, events, and making memories together during the 2026 season! 

This year may come with a little extra adventure getting here, but we promise it’ll be worth the trip.

Tentative Bridge Closure Schedule (weather dependent):
Now thru approx. August 31
The bridge over the old river channel (closest to downtown) is closed to all traffic, including foot traffic.

Around September 1 – approx. November 6
The old channel bridge will reopen, and the bridge over the Wabash River will then close to all traffic.

Please note: All dates are weather dependent and may change.

We know this may add a few extra minutes to your trip, but we truly appreciate your patience and support while these improvements are underway. Our park is still here (even though the pool is closed), ready to welcome you all season long! 

Detour maps are available to help guide you to the park throughout construction.
